The office, located at Prinseneiland 24C, is established in 1980 by Tijmen Ploeg. Synthetic designing is characteristic of our working method, in which the design is not only a solid response to the client’s original request, but to the context of the built environment as well. Often apparently conflicting objectives are the key to the final design.

Clients include private individuals as well as professional agencies and organizations. Completed projects range from structural renovations and large-scale interior design to new-construction projects. The office works on projects starting from their preliminary design until completion.

Tijmen Ploeg Architects BNA is ISO9001 certified. Continuity of the working method is guaranteed thanks to De ArchitectenbureauX cooperation. The bureau has built a tradition of working with other disciplines, such as graphic designers, artists, architects and industrial designers, while maintaining its own independence.
